Aroha by Ockham

Aroha is Ockham’s 14th development in Auckland and another amazing representation of the beauty that can be achieved using clay bricks! Aroha is situated in the Auckland suburb of Avondale and features 117 apartments, 47 of which are KiwiBuild units. The apartments are spread across two buildings brought together by a concourse and clad in our stunning White Glaze and Subiaco bricks.

Laying bricks on a building that is 8 storeys high is no easy task but the team at TS Bricklayers are experts at it now and it shows in the finish of this building. This project bought new challenges to the team with Arches and bulls’ eyes for them to complete too- not your usual day laying bricks. They did a spectacular job landing them with the gold award in the commercial category for the 2023 Jim Matthews Excellence Awards presented by the Master Brick & Blocklayers.
