Building Product information requirements (BPIR)
On 11 December 2023, new regulations for building product information requirements will commence. BPIR regulates the minimum level of information required to be supplied by importers, manufacturers, and distributors to consumers. The new regulations have been made to provide consumers with information about how building products contribute to compliance with the Building Code.
